The Lincolnshire artist speaks about struggling to come to terms with the end of a relationship, as he tries to gain closure but doesn't want her to rush the decision. This song seems to have been influenced a lot more by the British style of music due to the the three beat base that you will usually find in afrobeats songs. However, they usually are of a slower pace as seen here. This shows that YXL Ayo is never shy to experiment with his sounds and he is clearly benefitting from this.
